Hi amber3

Vipassana is a type Indian of meditation and roughly translated it means

To see things as they really are.

If you type it into google you will find loads of site about it.

Mrsempty, I am a sufferer and was both verbally abusive and emotionally void to my husband for a long time. I could manipulate any situtation and make it his fault. I was down right cold for what seemed like forever. I thank-god he stood by me until I got better. I am a different person now and am getting better everyday but I can't say the same for my husband. I see now that I made him insecure and his self worth has dropped dramatically. We are now working on him and the guilt will forever haunt me. Part of me wishes he would have been strong enough to leave but I liked to believe he loved me that much to see me through my pain and turmoil.
I can't suggest what you should do except keep going to counselling and always having a plan B. Ask yourself if its worth it? Ask yourself what this is doing to your daughter. Love can make you blind. If you don't see a silver lining than changes need to be made. Your well being needs to come first for your daughter's sake.
All the best to you.
