As an indentured servant to my mother, I also have issues with cooking and housework. I kind of shut down when my children approached the age I remember being and I lost all interest in food. My husband was perplexed but he took over the cooking and did a much better job than I could. I still hate it and id rather eat out than to cook. I can identify with the trigger. I often was insulted by my family if my efforts fell short.
