I just looked at my first thread in this Introductions forum, and boy have things changed for the better during these last two years.
Professionally: I have managed to pass all the uninteresting and/or badly taught/arranged classes that still remained for my bachelor's degree (YAY!) so that extra stress is gone - only finishing my thesis is left. My business has finally taken off this year (I've been building it since 2007, and now we could even afford to buy a new car). I have also arranged a lower work-intensity time from now until Christmas, so I can actually get my thesis written! *happydance*
Personally and most importantly, the tension between hubby and me seems to have melted away, very gradually and with a lot (a LOT!) of work by both of us. That relationship work continues, but with good communication habits in place, and with lower overall stress levels it is a much, much smoother ride at the moment.
It does not hurt that our eldest daughter - Little Big Girl - is now in a different school where the atmosphere is much, much more supportive, and the youngest - Big Little Girl - is old enough to just shrug when her headmaster says something idiotic again.
I also continue with weekly counseling, which helps keep the "steam pressure" low enough. My "ghosts" still exist, but they are much weakened and have a much less vice-like grip of me and my life.
I want to thank everyone here who commented, supported, gave tips and advice. I miss you all, but offline life is now so rewarding and supportive that I do not feel a strong need for support from this place. I may pop in from time to time just to chit chat, but I doubt I will be here very often. And that does not mean that anyone here would have failed me in any way - quite the contrary. You helped me on my feet, and now I am enjoying - well, call it a walkabout maybe?
Lots of  to everyone for whom they are safe and who needs/wants
Take care & C U later!
