New York Here We Come!

Almost time to sit back and enjoy the flight. So exciting for you both.

Bought a new camera today so we can take some snazzy shots - hopefully some with some forum members too. :D

I think we will have a tough time outdoing Lucy and Ethyl and their amazing adventure and photography but we'll try our best to let you know where we went and what we saw. I mean we are coming from Australia and all.

FYI: The Statue of Liberty will be closed for a year starting this month (for maintenance and building of a new stairway). Don't know if you all were planning on visiting but figured I would pass along the info and save you the trip if you were.

Dislike Jet but thank you. We had heard that but also when it is open you can spend hours waiting to climb it - just like the Eiffel Tower. :rolleyes:
