Hello everyone! My name is Heather and I live in WI.
I am new here on this thread and I found it while searching for PTSD. My boyfriend currently has been diagnoised with PTSD through the VA. He served 9 years in the Army, I believe 3 tours in Afganistan and is a former Drill Sgt.

I came here to seek answers and advice on PTSD, him pushing me away at times and him openingly admitting that he feels emotionally numb with emotional walls up.

I love this guy enough to fight for him...after all he fought for me.

Hi Heatherfeather,

Those post are quite old. Well 9 months or better I think now. We changed the rules to combat vets only for various reasons. One being it was keeping some members away and another being we had ex girlfriends running amok. We're crazy enough by ourselves.

The other forum has allot of supporters on it. AND they can and WILL help. Lots of good people who understand what this is all about.
