On Wednesday I make initial picks. It means I've got a good first cut at it in case life goes to hell before I can finalize. I rarely change more that 1 or 2 after that anyway.

I'm enjoying randomly selecting teams from a sport I know nothing about. It's been a nice distraction. I like that who I pick seems dependant on my mood or which name sounds "cooler". For example, will some pirate-sounding guys beat some eagle guys? If a pirate ship of Bucaneers was attacked by a swarm of Eagles, who would win? That is what I ask myself when randomly selecting is too hard for me ;). I'm doing not too bad either - about one third of my decisions have been the right ones :happy:.
