A couple of nights ago I dreamed that I was running late since I needed to catch the tram to go to the country south of the one I live in (which is across the sea, dream logic at it's best). I live in a town where there aren't any trams, but I'm planing to move to a city with trams. Anyway, I was so late that I tried to run over my old school yard. I think my body got heavy since I started crawling. I started sinking into the sand there and woke up.

I just remembered this old thread, and I think I'm ready to start writing in it again, especially after tonight.

I dreamed that I was back at school, once again. We were in a different building, a small round yellow house that I while awake can't understand how we managed to fit into. There are many of those yellow wooden houses in the school district in my hometown, but the schools I've been to have been made of rock.

We were having a cooking class, something that we didn't have before I was in an other class than the one I was bullied in, but apparently they didn't split the classes in this dream. For some reason we had to change our clothes at the end of the class, there weren't any rooms for that purpose. I refused.

Next thing I was staying after class to talk to my teachers (something I did quite often since it was safer than to go out; one of the teachers looked a lot like one of my German teachers). One of my former bullies had forgotten his red hat and came to get it. Typically this was when the teachers had to leave for some reason, leaving us to exit the building alone.

He took a "ladies first"-attitude, and in the dream for a moment I saw our real schoolyard with him mimicking me along with one of his friends. Back to where we were leaving the yellow building, the stair that we had to walk down didn't seem safe. There wasn't enough room for my feet on them, and I didn't want to go down. All of a sudden he had gone down before I had taken 2 steps, and was telling me that the trick is to do it as quickly as possible. I made it down while clinging to the railing on my right, later also the left after I had seen it. He commented that the building looked like it could fall to pieces at any moment, and I finally woke up again (I spent this morning drifting between being asleep and awake).
