Welcome! I, too, love your user name. Being mindful is tough, but it sure does make a difference when we can do so.
I struggle to put things into words, too. I find it a little bit easier to do when I am playing with something like putty that my therapist gives me to hold and squeeze. I dissociate when I talk about trauma specifics, so I need to constantly work on grounding. I also often write to my therapist because it feels safer to communicate the really scary stuff in that way. Sometimes I feel embarrassed after sharing, but I know that my therapist is not judging me (though it took me a while to believe that). I also draw a lot in therapy and make art outside of session to bring in with me. It is another way of communication for me and it helps me to express those things that there simply aren't any words for.
