:hilarious:
So my sister is double doc’ing right now... & I have a small collection of party tricks to bring out when I’m at her place (with her professors and colleagues) who are all brain peeps in various ways (neurologists, physiological psychologists, psychiatrists, soft psychologists, researchers, etc.).
All. I. Have. To. Do. Is to say “watch this” to someone, and then just start describing my behavior after various head traumas / concussions... and then all the brain-peeps start making these... faces... that are fall down funny to watch! They’re not at work so their professional distance “remain calm” is gone and their faces. OMFG. their faces just crack me up.
<cough> That ones of the shrinks has winked at me and said “The fact that you find this amusing, I find clinically significant” (it points towards resiliency) just makes it even better.
Point being?
Yes.
Any kind of odder than usual.
One of the ways I reacted to getting my bell rung one time was to become hyper organized (as easily as breathing, and since I’m ADHD that’s crazy) for about 6 months. It wore off (thank god!) so my brain did manage to heal, but even “good” symptoms? Are still signs of neurological change. And “should” be seen to by a neurologist.
