Was in the Doctors the other day discussing having my Mirena whipped out for a Copper coil, truly is a scary move I will have to use the lady isle for the first time in 4 years .
I'm seeing a Physc at home Tuesday in regards to medication but what I wanna know did your hormones or non hormones affect your medication in any way or maybe it's the hormones making me looney. :wacky:

Just looking for opinions is all thankyou

I'm so sensitive to birth control hormones I can't use any of them. Same, have Paragard / copperT (get a muscle relaxer to use during your period in the beginning, first couple three periods are gnarly; unlike Mirena your uterus doesn't expand with it, because your body doesn't think you're pregnant. Super cramps).

My two tries at using THE PILL:

Tricyclen: full body cramps and homicidal ideation within 3 days.

Ortho-tricyclen: nauseated almost to the point of throwing up all morning, very suicidally inclined all afternoon. Went through the whole pack to the sugar pills to see if it got better. Nope.

Pill No Bueno!!!

Same as Stickler, vomitting.

I have had success with a Mirena somewhat, I was consistently moody.

Had my tubes tied after my third and after 3 babies, 7yrs with a Mirena and now I'm on my own with a period? My hormones are f*cking bonkers!! Maybe it's age....maybe it's stress....but I do feel my meds are a bit harder to navigate because if the crazy ass hormones.

Before meds, absolute hell. Now, it's more of a dream thing. It gets hot and bothered right when ovulation hits. It's a good signal for me to start giving my man "the eyes". He can tell right away and it's a good week before we have to have a sex siesta.

When I am PMS'ing my meds just don't seem to work at all. I think hormoes highly affect things like absorbtion and what your body does with the meds.

I was on Sprintec and recently got switched over to a no estrogen pill. My doctor said I was having stroke symptoms and switched me over three months ago. I feel like I'm a little better physically (no migraines daily!) but emotionally, I'm still all over the place. I was on Welbutrin XL and stopped taking it maybe about two months ago? I fell off the band wagon and haven't gotten back on. I didn't see much of a difference with the anti-depressant.
