That sounds fabulous Ka-9. I used to live on a farm myself and had all the cats, dogs, horses, chickens, poddy lambs and calves. Loved it, but left the farm about 7 years ago when hubby retired, and now live on 3 acres about 8kms out of a small village. Still quite rural, but not the same. I only have my little dog Holly now, and 16 budgies in a large aviary, of all colours and varieties. They're lovely too.
Ka-9 I am so sorry to hear that you have suffered as a result of a loss of your previous dogs. Thats awful and I feel for you. I love the sound of your new buckskin quarterhorse colt. I used to have an arab and a quarterhorse on the farm. Used for both farm work and play.
So glad you are loving the country life. :)
