No idea; I've been trying to figure that out my entire life. Mandatory sterilization of men and women who rape and complete isolation from the outside world is the only answer I can think of.

Or just skip them both and bring back the firing squads. Believe me if I ran the country I'd be accused of so many crimes against humanity because It seems like the world protects these sick f**ks, and I would be just purging the nation.

I can't remember what state was trying to get this passed, but some state is trying to pass a law saying that all imprisoned sex offenders need to wear bright pink jumpsuits. I think the firing squad would be more humane than what will happen to these guys if this law is passed. No sympathy in my tone there, just facts. I support the movement. Well, the sadistic part of me does.

Who's to say that they won't let them spend their last moments with Big Bubba before their appointment with the squads? :) Though bullets do cost money; the offender's family needs to be billed for the man hours and the cost of the rounds spent.

I know exactly what you're talking about, If I'm not mistaken it's Texas that makes their prisons wear pink jumpsuits; but I think prisoners are color coordinated by violence level and not what they're in for. Something like that can easily start a riot. Sex offenders are normally caged separately, because even though a criminal is a criminal. Once the general population gets the idea that you're a child molester or rapist of some kind. It's pretty much over for you. I don't think a lot of those guys make it to parole.

It's one thing if they are children and it's a whole different story if it's a woman (or man for that matter). So it wouldn't matter especially in prison what colour of jumpsuit they worn with the attitude that rape is still a "sexual" act first and not vicious and demoralizing violence; and maybe, kind of, in some states, enough to get you some serious time.

In my neck of the woods there would be some vigilante justice take place against the boys who perpetrated this viscous and disgusting crime. I think to myself, what if that was my sister or daughter and it just makes me sick to my stomach!!! I can barely believe that I live in a world where such things happen....it's beyond reprehensible!!!

It always depends on who the boys are - I was raped by the first string of the state champion high school basketball team in 1974. I was a 14 year old cheerleader slut and they were just sewing their wild oats. I shouldn't have accepted a ride home with the team captain after I became intoxicated at a party where the punch was spiked. If they had been social outcasts instead of local sports heroes there might have been a different outcome for me. Instead I heard for the next 4 years of high school how I deserved what I got. Needless to say, I've never gone back to my hometown or high school reunions. I hope this girl gets treatment that is rapid and effective. The fact that her parents are outraged is good. Mine were ashamed of me - my mother even called me a slut and a whore. The reaction of family and friends is crucial to the healing process.
