I walked up to the store earlier as I wanted to get a few items, including a treat for my ESD (Emotional Support Dog) I have been getting her from there on occasion.

I talked to one of employees and told him I had applied there. He then told me who the manager was and then the employee I talked to cashed me out.

Before leaving the store, I had a brief chat with the manager and then we agreed to meet on Monday before 5pm! I will definitely be there... He said their hiring program was changing and that he'll see if he's got an email containing my application. So we'll see what happens with this!

I was nervous and a bit anxious also... I didn't have a usual aura, but I had familiar feelings... I don't think it was a flashback... Might have been a form of PNES (Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizure) activity.

Sorry things went badly for your last job (if that is what has happened); I hope there is a positive outcome for you with this interview.

Bad News! Because of some errors (Someone inside) in questions being asked, my application was locked. In order to reapply with this company, I have to wait 6 months!!!!! 6 years (9 months in this deli) I refuse to go 10 years... which would mean that I would have to stay four more years! Nope! I am going to find a way out... I almost want to argue with Social Security! the problem is I need to quit this job without quitting. How? oh How? Disability Law is useless... What other options are there?

Sorry to hear that Geordie, it's disappointing. Job seeking is so stressful any time, so bonus points to you for persevering and going for something you would like to do.

I've never heard of a rule where you have to wait 6 months before applying again. So did you have an interview and then they made an administrative error?

I worked with someone who wanted to get the sack so she could claim Social Security without a waiting period and then she wanted to go and train for the Police Force. What she did was act really rudely towards customers and colleagues in the hope that someone would complain.

I hope the weather is good for some nice walks with your companion dog this week.

@Sorrento Last night I had one of my "Ah ha!" moments which usually come from reading site, this one struck me while I wasn't using this site. So, I sent out an email which I am sure will be read and possibly replied to on Monday (I sent it between Saturday night and Sunday morning!)

From what you described above, I am not sure if that would have worked based on what I know from my own research. One thing I am seriously considering is the possibility of a leave of absence. I am finding that my anxiety is escalating when I have to deal with large groups of people.

As for the ESD and good weather, we mainly play fetch in the yard, and the weather so cold that we can't be out longer than maybe 25 minutes now.
