I want to harm somebody for the way I feel. (Knowing that you have PTSD) And tell them of your plan.

T: You are one of the most intelligent patients I have ever had. It's not often I get someone in here who knows themselves as well as you do.

M: Then how about you start paying me by the hour instead of me paying you.

T: What makes you think or to do this? (repeatedly asked)

M: Are you evening listening to me? Where the hell did you get your degree from anyways?? Why don't you answer the questions yourself than?

How about you stop talking so I can hear myself THINK about how much you're constant talking annoys the crap out of me?

(If he blabs on tomorrow I may actually use this one, especially since tomorrow is probably the last session with him)

during an evaluation

T "I was wondering, Have you noticed an exaggerated startle response?"

M "Never heard that phrase before. Could you explain what it is?"

T "Well lets say there is a sudden startle" at the word startle she move toward me suddenly with both hands up looking almost claw like. At least to me. I had pushed back so hard in the chair suddenly that the picture on the wall behind me actually rattled from my impact with the wall. She apologized and pleaded with me not to be scared of her. I calmed down and didn't say anything. But what I wanted to say......

"No not at all I just thought this would be a good moment to crack my head in an attempt to concuss myself yet again. After all I just love hospital stays."

When she askes me during emdr therapy, on a schale, 1 to 7, where my emotions are. several times within the session.
I dont have a frigging clue!!!! I don't do emotions!!!!

Phew, I'm glad someone else experiences this, at first I didn't even understand what she meant. My T has taught me so much about emotions & how/where we feel them. It's been like going through childhood again.

Oh and when I spill something really deep and painful and he doesn't say anything, i know he is just giving me space i guess...but i want to simply scream "SPEAK!"

I hated those silent moments. I wanted to say 'please speak to me, distract me from my thoughts'!

We want you to sit down in front of this computer and answer 20 minutes worth of vague questions my dear so we can see how truely flipped around your brain is. Oh and just so you know you will be in a small room with sounds going on outside that you can't see the source of. Also even though most of these say right now even if you emotions on some of them change in the next week we will still use this as an accurate evaluation of your mental status.
