I'm guessing reading this a few hours before a T session was a bad idea. Her first question 'how are you doing' had me thinking of the responses on this thread to that, and it was difficult to keep a straight face when she asked, with great empathy 'and how does that make you feel?'
Anyway, my contribution is from yesterdays session, where we were discussing my suicidal thoughts and drive.
Me - it's like, when you have a load of choices and they're unclear and not all good, it's difficult not to think of the thing that is soothing and you know works
T - but then you wouldn't be able to make any choices
Me - I think that's the whole point
