Responses To Your Therapist That You Will Probably Never Say

'So who was the untogether one?' .

Ever since posting the previous, I've been feeling really bad about it. But I realised 2 things:
1. It is something I actually WANT to ask her, as I really felt to flawed and damaged after seeing her, and was too young to realise she had her own issues, and I could never rid myself of the extremely negative perception I formed of myself at the time. The critical voice inside my head is often hers.
2. I don't want anyone to think the statement is flippant - it was a moment of anger that came out, and it is a question I really would ask her, in anger.

A therapeutic moment :depressed:

[When I eventually took a peep in her direction, she was clearly in a Frozen State :roflmao:
Oh my goodness!

But I want to know from these f*ckwits how the three of them could not come up with slightly more similar responses, diagnoses, reactions. Should I schedule a conference?
Just checking but were you the same in each session? :bookworm:

Abstract, I gave them each exactly the same detail. The funny thing is, I got more bored with the story the second time around, the third time I was nearly catatonic with boredom - and yet the responses intensified from shocked silence, to 'I'm hesitant', to 'YOU NEED MEDS, A PSYCHIATRIST AND HOSPITALISATION!!!' This is what is so damn weird.

Are you seeing trauma therapists? I see one and he tells me that other therapists would be too afraid to take on trauma. I totally believe it since I've gone to other Ts who tried to fix me in 6 weeks, lol. I lucked into my T, I feel so lucky.

Are you seeing trauma therapists?
T1 is a trauma counselor. LOL. T2 and T3 advertise themselves as psychologists who deal with trauma. Unfortunately they also deal with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, psychometric testing, ennui, self-awareness ....... in other words, they think they can do anything and everything. I guess they bait all loons and then screen them.

Pencil,

I don't trust it at all when I see a list a mile long. I think they are just covering all bases. Or if they have had two clients with PTSD they add that. What I eventually did was look if they had a qualification in trauma or and if they were listed as just trauma or related stuff. I won't go near a non trauma T again. I think they did so much damage to me and hugely prolonged my total lack of understanding of what was happening for me.

Maybe if T1 was able to un-freeze herself she could have been a good bet! ;)
