Running out of ativan and doctor re-scheduled

Hi guys, I have been prescribed Ativan 0.5 twice a day and have been taking it at least once a day to relieve my anxiety. The prescription was meant to last until my next appointment but my doctor has just re-scheduled for the end of April.

I have only a few days worth of the medication left and was a bit nervous to say that to my doctor's receptionist. I accepted the new appointment but am wondering if I should call back or visit my doctor at the psychiatric ward. I'm a very passive person and dont want to be pushy. Any suggestions or ideas?

Call them back to get a refill. They can give you enough to get to your next appointment.
