That sounds like a good idea KP, maybe somewhere we could have a meal too if we wanted to.

Just checked the time to meet KP and that will be good for us, as we plan on making a day of it. Setting off early'ish, travelling the A roads not the M1. Calling and having breakfast somewhere on route.

I think the 'Bullring' Shopping centre may be an OK place to meet. It is central (in fact linked to New Street Station), it is close to parking and has lots of cafes.

I am thinking of somewhere like Cafe Rouge. I know they don't mind if you have just a coffee, a three course meal or anything in between. I will phone them and see if I can book a table, hopefully a round table so we can all talk across it.

Also nice for a bit of retail therapy :rolleyes::inlove:.

I was thinking of parking in a rail station close to Birmingham, and coming the last short distance by train.

Dont want to confuse hubby too much, or get lost on any inner ring roads. But with me as map reader, we should be just fine.

I never got us lost when directing him from the back of the bike. :D The signals were funny though.

Looks like it could be Aston station as it is not far from the A38 which we will be coming down, and only about 10 mins from New Street.

That seems like us sorted then. :tup:
