Show Us Your Catch - Fishing

As it says... if you like to fish, show us your recent catch. Bloody things can be elusive, so knowing they're out there, keeps the motivation going.

Now we only fish generally when we go camping, every month or two.

My latest was my first trout which I caught on a small blade lure.



This one is from our Fraser Island trip last year, Nicolette and my lovely SIL showing off their catches.

Fishing is one of my favorite things to do. I look forward to warm weather and being able to. I could fish now but ice fishing isn't my thing.

Northern Pike, this one was 9lb. Very fun to watch guys who have never fished for them before. First a little fight, then they sink to the bottom and they think they are played out, right up to when they see the boat.....and then you got a fight on your hands.

Largest one I ever caught was 31LB. Gotta be really careful not to get bit, they have anticoagulant on their teeth and you will bleed for hours.
