I think reaching out for help to get therapy, or just reaching out for social contact, just going to the store and saying something to somebody in the produce department, or something is very useful is going to help you, talk to the cashier. I think if you take the time to seek out therapy for yourself, you are already on your way to regaining control. I haven't seen a mention of a doctor or medication yet, you might be helped by these things if you haven't already tried. The forum is a good thing, but conversation with somebody in real life is going to be much more effective, even conversation over the phone with a friend is good.
