News Snipers In Dallas.

I'm not surprised it's turning into a race war. And it seems like a big waste of time to me to try and point to this conspiracy theory or that factoid. Because all that just creates more division.

Use of agent provocateurs to entrap vulnerable gullible people into participating in a scripted "crime" and then arresting and prosecuting them for it is not a conspiracy theory

It is standard FBI practice, and has resulted in over half of the "terrorist" arrests since 911

Check out the report by Human Rights Watch and Columbia Law School’s Human Rights Institute https://www.hrw.org/report/2014/07/21/illusion-justice/human-rights-abuses-us-terrorism-prosecutions

According to multiple studies, nearly 50 percent of the more than 500 federal counterterrorism (Sic) convictions resulted from informant-based cases; almost 30 percent of those cases were sting operations in which the informant played an active role in the underlying plot. In the case of the “Newburgh Four,” for example, a judge said the government “came up with the crime, provided the means, and removed all relevant obstacles,” and had, in the process, made a terrorist out of a man “whose buffoonery is positively Shakespearean in scope.”

That was the fact, now for the theory side

Thomas Hobbes' fallacious justification for the state; that without a monopolist of violence we'd live in a state of nature consisting of a war of all upon all, and human life would be nasty short and brutish.

Hobbes (tutor to the well connected aristocratic Cavandish family's kids) got his reasoning back to front

people only accept a monopolist if they are convinced that without the monopolist, their lives would be nasty short and brutish. The monopolist therefore has a huge incentive to keep up the illusion that he is protecting us rather than robbing and abusing us

that is why politics is about setting groups against each other - why it is all about divide and rule, of favouring one constituency and threatening them with another.

That is why you get the FBI street theatre, that was why Europe got Gladio.

BLM movement is to remedy this...

Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the Bundy's and guns and shootings and property rights. Yes that is going through the courts.

Police shooting of civilians are also going through the courts. What has that changed? No convictions.

It doesn't matter where they are
some cops seem to have a nasty sense of entitlement when it comes to threatening people's lives. I'll offer this dickhead as evidence of that

He seems to like fiddling with the trigger while he aims at old ladies heads
The cars were being searched for an approx 280 pound (20 stone) body builder - you can see from the cars springs that he isn't in there, but still dickhead of a cop fiddles with the trigger while he aims at old ladies heads

BLM as in Black Lives Matter @Changeling, because let's face it, when gay marriage was put to voters, they only had nominal success til they went through the courts. Now, as a result we have gay marriage. So far as ... "no convictions" and the federal institution you site, Bureau of Land Management... who can win a landmark case against the Feds? I would suggest, almost nobody.

I think that if the movement would be patient a case would present itself and be litigated for the favor of the group... but patience is not something that is in ready supply for the Black Lives Matter movement.

It peeks my interest that thus far, Sharpton, Jackson, and Farrakan have yet to make any statement. Nor (that I'm aware of) has the NAACP. Strikes me as highly unusual to say the least.

"...please do not use language & ethnical background as synonymous with race or negating it where it may be the case. ... Don't erase them with one category."

@Cashew I made a statement of fact and am not sure what you're driving at. I can and will use any language I so choose, thank you. I reject your attempt to censure my dialogue in any way, graciously.. but no thank you, my words are my own and I am equally bound and entitled to them.

"Group?"

Litigate asking for special treatment or changes to the Bill of Rights?

Black Panthers upset the US because they used their rights to the 2nd amendment. That was not ok. Note even raising their arms at the Olympics. Different rules for different folk. No difference now.

No, not necessarily that far, but a landmark case that would trigger measures to be taken to preclude incidents like these would be (Dallas), I think a solidly good start. It is systemic... and via the courts... systemic problems can, ultimately they have to be - resolved.

I got no beef personally @Changeling with the rights of New or old Black Panthers to exercise their right to keep or bear arms under the second amendment. I do think however that the Black Liberation movement on the whole, with the "kill whitey" mentality is not the way to deal with this next phase of advancement and equality under the law for blacks or any other minority group.
