Does not mean I endorse it, but apparently female officers shoot less suspects.
That would be counterintuitive, as you'd think female officers might find themselves on the wrong end of a struggle more, or afraid for their lives more, simply due to size/strength.

So maybe a part of it is something about how we define masculinity in America? So, how is that changing?
Nobody seems to be discussing that.
I'm not blaming men, BTW. Women are just as good about being the gender role police.

Albatross, I have never been angry at you. Yes, sadly, you were right about Prince. But I still have never been angry toward you. I don't understand the hostility toward me. But I've let it go. I don't want to get into anything unpleasant with anyone. I truly believe that PTSD is thicker than anything. I hold many people here dear with whom I do not agree politically or socially. It doesn't matter. What matters here is our healing.
