Go straight to the people who hired you, the top folks and tell them you have PTSD. Tell them what happened, how you felt, how this impacts your life differently than another person who gets fired. There is a Yiddish phrase called giving someone "the greesha" (phonetic spelling my bad), which means giving them the problem. They will be terrified you will sue, particularly if you have a medical history you can draw on that shows you have our disease. But it's not about suing, it's about transparency. Honor yourself to stand up for what is right. Your circumstances are different due to PTSD. In fact, they should be proud that (up until they fired you) a disabled person successfully worked in their kitchens. Please understand I am kind of a shark business person so if your soul and head and psyche can't deal with this, I send you many hugs and never think you are a horrible person. We have a sickness, that's it. I say stand up for yourself, if you can.
