How about: seeking, learning, changing, growing, practicing, achieving, mastering...
Very happy with the above, as it does adequately cover the PTSD process via key words. You could chop and change them with lots of words that say the same thing... but at the end of the day... they often say the same thing.

Well done.

Wisdom is the judicious theory and application of knowledge.

:tup:I cannot believe this Anthony, My H and I were sharing our thoughts on this in bed last night! Not what most couples do in bed but hey!:roflmao:

It had nothing to do with the Forum but were were discussing how, as we progress in our lives we don't just move on and put things behind us but we have to apply what we have learned. It is getting to know who you are as an individual and understanding and accepting yourself while still working on any changes that need to be made. In essence, it is becoming 'real' and this enables us to see others as they truly are and the person they can become. No Wisdom and understanding go hand in hand.

A bit deep perhaps but then if you sit up late at night discussing wisdom and understanding then this is what will happen! ;)

I also wanted to say that Angel's idea of using the spectrum makes perfect sense as it is something we all know of, it is a natural occurrence and the sight of a rainbow is such a joy and brings hope.

He is a wonderful father!

I know you mean well, Whitney. He's doing what he can, literally. I get anxious when I see people judging a person from one act of kindness. No offense. I've just seen it a lot on the forum and in "real" life, and from my experience, that's dangerous.

I know what you mean. But I can not not write this. As you may well guess, there are reasons.

Apologies not necessary, but thanks.

we can find another owl

He's doing what he can, literally.

Well, as I said, he has always supported me in the ways he can, which includes drawing owls (among other things), assembling furniture and financially. I have been grateful for this support, and I no longer expect the support I would have needed. Finally, there's no longer "black and white" but some shades of grey.

So, I'm looking forward to the owl(s). :)

Okay, so here's owl set no. 1 (one image is missing, it wouldn't open and thus it wasn't included in the collage):

Forum Eulen Teil 1.webp

To be honest, I don't like it, not for this purpose, plus it's too big I think. What do you think?

My dad has no problem changing it, making another, etc. Maybe we could think about what style we'd like (i.e. comic, outline only, modern, etc.) and if it should be just the head, etc.

Personally, I think they are really cute, but too small to really know what they are. I like the idea of just a head.
