My spouse declined to be willing to do MDMA assisted therapy since he has a medical condition that may be exacerbated by the substance. I didn't spend enough time thinking about his end of the bargain. As soon as I did, I realized that he shouldn't participate, and I can't without him. It's okay. There will be more studies to come, and maybe this one just wasn't for me.
