Poll Superpowers Or Personality? Flight V Invisibility

Flight for me provided I wouldn't have to file flight plans or deal with the FAA just to be able to go to work. It would save me money on gasoline though I would still need a car at least to and from the veterinarian. Not sure what to think though about the "no other superpowers in the world only your's" thing.
Maybe if that's the case, I would be stubborn and refuse to choose.

Though initially I thought flight, people would still target and shoot you down and I have things I would like to accomplish. Invisibility would take me a lot farther.

I chose Flight, but I can think of a few problems. One would be disoriented in the clouds and also risk collision with IFR traffic, the FAA will soon be up your ass and potential birdstrikes. I do assume since it's a superpower one would be able to breathe and that the extreme cold (-2 degrees C/1000') at high altitude wouldn't be a factor though.

@Albatross-A flight plan is not required under visual flight rules, in most circumstances unless you're planning on crossing the ADIZ, if so then a Defense VFR flight plan is required.:geek:

@4melissa, It's extremely difficult to shoot down flying objects, although at lower altitudes you would be vulnerable to a shotgun blast like a game bird. At higher altitudes, it's almost impossible because antiaircraft missiles are either heat seeking or radar guided. A flying person would not have engines or a big radar signature.

Nah, you just follow roads and interstates so as not to get lost, so your path would be clear. Besides, if you needed to drop altitude quickly you could simply choose to fall, at which point you would reach terminal velocity incredibly fast. :)

I admire eagles however able to fly above the clouds and witness the back side of storms releasing the gamma rays into the atmosphere- those can't be good for people though. Amazing seeing a storm as a living entity in the universe.. Flight. But I don't like heights, so I'll stay just above ground level if that's OK? The best thing about running was that moment in each stride when your whole body is off the ground. I'lll just have that, extended.

Yeah, I thought about that too (bird strikes) and also being sucked into a jet engine or smacking the windshield of a passenger airplane or something, but I'd still do it.
