I hate that I have been intubated again simply because I was crying so hard over losing a valued and treasured friend and someone I derived pleasure from just through human conversations.

But thanks for getting angry for me, since I am too upset, sad, and hurt to get angry like I should.

Plus a tubed and paralyzed person just looks silly when angry...best I can do right now is shout at them in sign language...just not the same.

I do not know how I got on here tonight when my screen shows no wifi service, but I am glad I did, because I saw your post.

Hope you are doing ok. This area is bracing for Hurricane Sandy as it is to make landfall one hour east of here. Record rainfall and outages are expected, and I worry about/miss being with my boys at home.

Wish I could do something to cheer you up Alex. Don't know if you are able to take phone calls, please let me know if you can. It's easy for me to tell you not to give up from where I am but, Alex "don't give up".

You still have a bunch of people here on the forum that care about you, even though we are powerless to help you. All me can offer is support and a listening ear. I've said it before, your bravery is outstanding and I know you don't like hearing that either. There is little more I can say except stay brave and try and find the positives somewhere, some how.

I could never understand what it is like to suffer as you do but I do care about you. My heart weeps.

As an x-nurse I am horrified by how you have been/are being treated. :eek: I hope you stay safe in your little room while that hurricane blows over. (We have had reports on the news about it over here). Maybe it will blow away all those useless medical people! :roflmao:
