She's my Treasure. My H and I are bike people too. Or used to be before we had a five year old! Now the Harley sits in the garage mostly...:(

Always loved riding horses when i was a kid. Yeah m a single dada of an 8 yr old so my riding time is limited. Use to live on my ZX12. Something about going fast clears the mind of all this stuff.

Talked to a psychologist last night for a couple hours. She's a non-blood Aunt I haven't seen in years. She specializes in trauma, has a PhD. Was good as i now have a better perspective on the family of origin issues. She feels i have C-PTSD. So I'm now trying to grasp the meaning of all that. A few more family secrets were revealed. Deep in processing all that out.

Kudos for reaching out! A trauma specialist in the family, what an awesome resource. My H has c-ptsd - the healing process is like peeling an onion - it takes a while and you cry a lot.:)

I do feel hopefull for the first time in many years. My GF is being such a sweet heart about it all. Nice to be accepted. Even with all this stuff dangling about. Feel I'm in for a ride on this one. Once more out of the ashes.
