That's great!!!!! Finding something new to do together that makes you laugh and smile sure enriches life and marriage! ;o)

Eeek....grandchildren....not yet please. Still trying to digest teenagers who think they are adults.

I always wondered if aliens had taken over my boys bodies during that stage. One minute they think they're adults and should have those privileges (18 is the worst) and the next they're acting like 2 year olds! Even so you will manage to have great memories of this stage too ;o)

And the boss has now decided... Salsa it is!

Hopefully she will want to learn the waltz after that one... as the full waltz looks amazing to do around a dance floor.

I don't think we will be doing much Tango for a while, until we learn lots more.

Reporting in.........

Tonight we did some more ballroom, the Rumba including two types of spins, the Foxtrox and my darling husband, who is as light as a feather on his feet floating around the dance floor, is really improving on leading which is helping me as I need to take the calculator out of my brain...

We laugh, we crack the instructor up (and not because of our combined 3 left feet) and walk out feeling great. Actually I walked out tonight thinking 1,2,3 and right left right (the Foxtrot). Rumba is my favorite so far and Anthony is enjoying being in control for an hour or two of the week.

Even the instructor was impressed that we retained most of what he taught us last week considering Anthony (ok me) hasn't practised. I told the instructor we better not practise then or we might get too good too quickly.

Another fun night at the Dance school.

It's totally awesome, I agree.... But after the 'call a medic' following the first attempt I do hope you understand that certain things are made to look EASY by people who are very good at them.

I hope you appreciate the genuine talent of a true dancer..... their dedication, their technique, and the training of their body so as to not to 'give a knee' so easily..... good luck and enjoy x

Well tonight we learned some more Tango....but before that I lost my right toe about three times (all my fault... damn left foot not going backwards when it should

). We also refreshed the Rumba and learned an extra move, I've been doing some twirling and turning while Anthony goes side to side. They say the woman is the picture and the guy is the frame.... my frame better hold me up as I have sore bits from joints I forgot about years ago cause going side to side is definitely the easier move.

Anyway, did some Foxtrot and some Waltzing around. I think I like the Rumba the best so far and once my knee gets better it's time for some Salsa.

Boy this sounds like fun! Brings back some very good memories. My dad taught me to dance and waltzing is my favorite one. Of course I can't remember him teaching me but good memories over the years none the less! :) Too bad you guys can't take a vid! ;)

Almost at video stage - so we can bring it home and remember what to do when practising

I've got the basic Rumba and Foxtrot down pat whereas compared to Anthony I am a klutz at the Waltz and Tango. Wore boots tonight so my toes were safer but I'm not sure about Anthony's. It seems like he's the one for swanning around the room and being dramatic (Waltz and Tango) where as I am more getting into moving and like the straight and squarer type styles. Pretty true to character.

We learned how to rock during the Rumba and do a lunge with the Tango.

Must say that dancing is the only time in my week that I like having Anthony push and pull me around as well as being the lead. Rest of the week it's game on for the pants wearing.

That's tonight's update! Over and out!
