I also awoke early hours the other morning in a sweat and my head was shaking and my heart was pounding it was almost like I was having a seziure (but am not epilic ) was quite frightening.

Has anyone ever experienced this before ??

Hi Demon,

Yes, I've experienced this before. Usually the most I have these in the greatest frequency is following an encounter with a trigger, whether or not I'm aware that I have, sometimes. I saw the snakes a few months back in my dreams, too. Because the lack of proper sleep ends up effecting my ability to work functionally and could cost me my job if I'm not focused or alert, I just drink a nice cup of chamomile tea before bed every night and look at adorable images of animals on a website called "cuteoverload". Clearing my mind and replacing any thoughts with positive ones are what help me find restful sleep.

Wishing you some pleasant slumber soon,

Honestly...every night. Mine are not snakes rather people. Hurting me physically or emotionally. When its physical I've noticed I don't know them...emotionally always my family or loved ones. I've been RX'd some things to help. I'm scared to sleep especially if my dogs aren't with me! Wake up 3 times a night sweating, crying. Sucks! Do you have some one to talk to? Big changes in life? I wish you the best!
