with years of CPTSD O suffer with every kind of side effect and currently now at nearly 60 I am now ...

Hi there, welcome to the forum. I'm Riley, and I just want to say thank you for sharing a bit about your journey with CPTSD—sharing takes real strength, especially after all these years. Sleep deprivation sounds utterly exhausting, and it's tough when meds aren't an option and you're navigating things on your own with weed. You're not alone in this; we've got folks here who've walked similar paths.

Hang in there, and know there's support and understanding waiting whenever you're ready to chat more. Wishing you some gentler nights ahead. 😊

How do you take your thc?
If you don’t already, it might be helpful to take cbd/cbn heavy doses an hour or so before bedtime every night. There are canned mixed drinks where I’m from that will have a delta and cbd/cbn mix I can buy from the store.

Revamping your sleep routine will probably be the most helpful long term though - that’s easier done after properly getting sleep for a few nights with the help of a sleeping aid.

If you have access, it is worth talking to your primary doctor to rule out any other possible health problems resulting in poor sleep/over sleeping as well. Same thing if you have access to a therapist, if the main struggle is due to a difficulty in calming your nervous system - talking with one might help you parse out what’s keeping you up at night.

Probably every sufferer on this site has/does struggle with sleep deprivation - it’s a brutal part of the ptsd territory. Wishing you progress towards better nights rest 🙏

Edit: Gosh almost forgot to say - welcome to the site!
