A handful of years ago, I survived trauma with someone... frankly, I'd be dead if it was not for them. They said the same of me, but that's not the case. They legit were just one of those souls that had helped so many in their too short years. Cancer recently killed them, and quickly. I have lost family, friends, even survived a mass shooting and etc.
But this one is the worst to try to walk through. I'm sure trauma bonding or something is playing a role. It's been a few weeks and it just keeps hitting me very hard.
The best ones die too young.
