What Book Are We Starting With?

I would recommend a paperback which is 306 pages by Augusten Burroughs. "Running with Scissors" a memoir.

It was an Australian best seller and two years on the New York Times best seller list and made into a movie in 2006, starring Annette Bening, Joseph Fiennes, Alec Baldwin and Gwyneth Paltrow.

I find this Book Club idea and the interest in its participation so interesting and exciting :tup: that it's been on my mind lots and lots today! I just had to share that.

Also, for any participants interested I think you'll find PaperBack Swap online a very inexpensive way to go, plus perhaps list your book once it's read. When someone out there is interested in it, you'll end up with a credit to order your next book for (free) and have it mailed to you for (free). Credits can also be purchased for next to nothing.

I hope this lead helps some with costs and simplicity.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. It is longer than 300 pages, but it sounds good. Here's the Amazon link so you can read about the plot and reviews and see if it sounds interresting.

It won't matter, as you will see what I'm going to do once everyone has one nomination in. A fair and equitable way, which will show evidence to all that it was done fairly. Hint: video doesn't lie!

There is already more than 10, so people will vote for something if their book is not listed this time around.

Do you mean: Tuesdays with Morrie: An Old Man, a Young Man, and Life's Greatest Lesson?

As the other, Mitch Albom's Tuesdays with Morrie, is a play, not a book.
