What Did You Do For Someone Else Today?

Today I gave away all of my remaining cat things to an acquaintance and her family. She wanted to give me something for it but I refused. It was important to me that they went to a worthwhile home.

Checked up on friend's daughter. Kiddo's doing better than she was.

I did that with my daughter's things. It is very healing in one way. I so feel for you luv (((hugs))).

I took care of the village drunk and made sure food was eaten and the bed was found safely.

I called my grandmother. It's her birthday today.

And I would like to do something for someone else but I would ask for support from here. A good friend of mine is pregnant but she already had a miscarriage once and is very nervous at the moment. ...there are still four weeks to go until the critital point will be over. Could you please include her in your thoughts/prayers/candle lightning? ...her name is Marina. She's a wonderful person who also went through a lot and finally found a lovely husband and I wish her to be happy...:notworthy:

My friend Katherine asked me to go into a store and buy her some diapers, she is 92 years old and wears them daily. I did this for her, of course, so she would not have to get off the bus as it sat there in the parking lot of Dollar General and waited for some other elderly folks to come back onto it. She always gives me a quarter of a dollar or so when I go into a store for her. I put that money into a little box I have for World Hunger and I donate that money once per year to that fund.

We took my 17 year old son out to breakfast this morning before he left with his school orchestra for Spain. We left a generous tip to the waitress(we usually tip well to begin with) at my son's request. He ordered eggs, pancakes, hash browns, and a Icecream Sundae! lol Of course for breakfast, and she brought him out a larger than usual strawberry sundae. He loved it. He devoured everything! You can always see the gratefulness in his face. I'm blessed.

My neighbor asked me for some corn and some rice, so I gave her some. I had a bunch of it in my cupboards. No sweat. I could part with it easily.

Agreed to collect Cleo at the train station. She will return earlier than expected.
