Fixed born day dinner for the hubby's youngest offspring. Mostly garden stuff we grew ourselves, and some from another friend who gardens.
The menu consisted of green beans cooked with fresh thyme, sea salt, and black pepper, topped with their choice of chopped onion, cucumber, yellow pepper, and/or heirloom tomato when served...along with roasted beets/carrots/potatoes seasoned with some avocado oil, rosemary, white pepper, mustard seed, and sea salt...and dessert was a super moist sort of brownie-like baked concoction made with mashed overripe bananas, cocoa powder, hemp seeds, and baking powder.
Grateful for the smiles, sound effects of satisfaction while chowing down, and requests for leftovers to take home, but sure am glad it's over. lol Mission accomplished. Even more grateful for help with the dishes.
