What Did You Do For Someone Else Today?

My oldest granddaughter got yelled at by her mom today, I will talk to my daughter and set things right. We have open communication and it was over a misunderstanding.

I went grocery shopping, bought things my family asked for and things that they didn't. Didn't do "big" shopping, have to wait money wise. But, still, I got them some treats to tide them over. Fruit being one of the things. They are all very happy. Plus my husband doesn't have to stop after work to pick up groceries which is what he usually does.

I'm editing this because I wanted to add, yes I put this in what I've done for someone else because I'm not usually the one who does the shopping, except big shopping. Between my chronic illness and my not wanting to leave my house I get stuck. My family is grateful for the days I unstick myself. But no one is more thankful then myself. I get to feel useful again.

I took my granddaughter to school. She just loves getting rides in the morning.

I spoke to someone on a friend's ideas and got no cooperation from the person I spoke to, nor did that person take my advice. Can't say I didn't try though!

I will make two sandwiches for my eldest son. That way, he will have something to eat between school and leaving for the game. He is always hungry at that time and wants to stop somewhere to get something to eat. Now he'll have it right when he comes home.

Better yet, my husband is swinging home at lunch. I'll have him pick up some subs for both sons to have after school! Well so much for my doing something.;)

I'm slowly cleaning the bathroom. My husband said he was going to do it but he is so busy and I think he does a ton around here. It is the main bathroom and it will take me awhile. The only thing I can't do is scrub the tub because that messes with my physical illness and last thing we need is me passed out slumped over a dirty tub.

One of the kids spilled shampoo all over the floor and left it. They are big enough boys to know better. They just covered it with washcloths. It was in the corner, hidden, so I didn't notice. Seriously! Just tell me or clean it up yourselves! UGH :grumpy:
