Florida's phase one of reopening some restraunts and some other businesses starts tomorrow. There is a limit of 25% of people in at a time tho.

Will see how stores look on Wed or Thurs. Not looking foward to it.

Curfews are being lifted timorrow as well.

People in this apartment complex isn't taking anything seriously and they never had. Kids and adults in large groups, all walk next to you, up to you, by you, and all common areas crowded where you have to walk next to someone to get to the dumpster. No one has a mask on. It's infurating cause it effects me. I have to walk in common areas, cant want around. At least I have a mask but its a flu mask. Its not much of a protection.

my state is still on a stay at home order, but you wouldn't know it by the roads outside today. Just as busy as pre-virus. People not wearing masks everywhere. Nice weather = virus doesn't exist anymore. Maybe they were going on rides like me and my family, though, but I see people shirking the rules on social media. Just actually deactivated my accounts.

I had been dealing relatively well with the whole thing until this week, because of extra added stressors with school finals. I'm stressed, anxious, tired. It's midnight here and I'm still not asleep, and I've been getting up at 6am recently. It really hit me this evening that for the first time in 18 years, I don't have my business. I didn't realize how much that kept me sane. A huge portion of my identity is from my work, but I guess I just have to learn to be me without it.

Lol, reminds me of when I used to walk my dogs to the dog park, they would walk with me for 1/2 mile in the park, then sit by the gate waiting for me to finish. Then I would have to drag them back home. Mastiffs don't like a lot of exercise.

Many of the vets I know are assuming it's coming and starting to prepare for it.

thats what i was wondering......

first- there's already wars going on

second- theres only one person who might be stupid enough to go to war full on against china and im not even sure hes that stupid. And if it turns out he is, nobody's stupid enough to go with him.

third- the wars being fought already are basically political wars between the powers that be- or think they be.

one thing im not worried about is outright war
but maybe, given who my countries neighbours with, i should be

and our PM just banned all non- hunting rifles so.... civil war could be a thing. you wouldnt believe how "American" some Canadians can be. Of course they're saying he used covid as a shortcut to push it through using the emergencies act- which he hasn't actually invoked but hey, covid is a convenient excuse for a lot of political nonsense.

I was really hoping people would change. Some might have. Slowed down. Shifted perspective, focused on what really matters. But the majority, I think are just eager to get right back to all the negative aspects of their lifestyles as quickly as possible.
It's subjective anyways. :meh:
