I know I have ptsd when...for months was being used as trash fiery incinerator for narcissistic person to vomit her sh*t onto me without caring about my thoughts/feelings, etc. and I mistook this as healthy interaction and interpersonal (f*cking) communication... I've been scouting out this type of broken and toxic communication all of my f*cking life...due to being taught I deserved nothing better than for humanoids to "talk at me" rather than...with me...

So you know you have ptsd when - being unable to (until just recently) distinguish the asinine and mentally cognitive draining difference between extremely unhealthy interactions with humanoids vs. healthier caring give/take interpersonal verbal communication with human beings...geez...took me this freaking long!

• You have to go to therapy, doctor, therapy, group, meeting... every week just to live.
• You catch cognitive distortions like most people catch colds.
• If you go off your medicine, your magical thinking would rival a 6 year old child's.
• you can't sleep earlier than 3 AM because you're so d#mn scared all the time.
• you then sleep for 13-14 hours after finally falling asleep
• you dissociate over the littlest stressor, and coming back takes all your energy.
• you'd really rather be hit by someone than be treated nicely and that just confirms the self-loathing.
