When you are triggered in public and trying to deal with the post office and their extreme f*ck up, and the little girl in line behind you asks her grandmother "Why is she so sad." and the grandmother explains it to the little girl with such caring and empathy that you want to tell the little girl "If I had a grandmother like yours I wouldn't be sad." because you needed that kind of caring when you were a child and never got it. Instead you tell her that you are sorry for upsetting her and reassured her that even though you are sad, every thing will work out and how sweet she was for caring.

When the Neurologist that you’ve been seeing for almost 20 yrs tells you to take off your pants and you freeze. He again says, take off your pants, leave on your underware, and you say, “ my pants?” Ok, so now I have bursitis in my hip and he gave me a steroid injection in the bursa. The whole thing freaked me right out, because he didn’t call in a nurse. I do trust him but still freaked me out!!!
