When you have to leave the room because your mom put on a tv show about Bill Cosby the survivors who are speaking out and the graphic detail of their assaults.

When you wake-up, find your sheets, or bedding, in such disarray after going to bathroom in morning. Many people would think wtf happened.

You think...another very bad night.... but at least I got some sleep. Glad I don't remember most nightmares or night terrors.

When your phone doesn't change overnight because while sleeping you accidentally ripped the charger out of the wall and broke the screen by throwing it on the floor...

... when someone tags you relating to a post you made just yesterday, and you have to scroll back and look at the post because you can't remember what you said!

Anxiety can cause you to do some really funny things, especially when you are in a "rush"

• Lysol does not hold your hair in place
• Don't frantically search for car keys until you've checked your hands first
• Make sure you keep track of what dog you've have fed so you don't feed the same one twice!
• Turn on the crock pot before you start putting everything away and cleaning up for "company", although pizza makes it OK agai
• Auto pay is a great tool for taking some financial stress off as long as you remember you set it up that way and don't pay on line again!
• When you can't remember big chunks of your life it is pretty normal to run into people that "know" you and you have absolutely no clue who they are and what they are talking about.

You know you have PTSD when you have no problem whatsoever remembering your log in passwords for your support forums, but you can't remember how to log in on your employer site or their continuing education site. No kidding, I have had my passwords reset every 5-6 months now for the last 2 1/2 years and still draw a total blank. This is wearing thin with the office staff.

When at the mention of therapy, you grin with 'thank you but I already have a very therapeutic group of people' and mean someone else than drinking buddies, for a change.
