You Know You Have PTSD When...

When you go to see new doctor for physical things - you tell him you also see a psychiatrist there (reason why you went there for new doc - one single place, and new p-doc was good.) Wants to know diagnosis. Honest. After you pay front desk - person gives you "post it note" with psychiatrist personal number to make appointment (uh...I already have it.) He makes his own appointments directly.

I wanted to laugh, because I "text" him for an appointment, or for refills.

I must be really messed-up....

When climbing on a very steep cliff is the only thing to calm down your mind

Weird how that works. Me it's being in ocean or sea. Or running (but I ran too much causing injuries.) In college I'd hike cliffs. Then after college sometimes drive 3 hours to get high into mountains. I felt so calm there hiking around. Maybe had something to do with all the waterfalls. Also, been in a town in mountain forest that rested in the clouds.

I read somewhere high altitudes make you more depressed, but I also think they can calm you. Which would make sense.

@Anrish I see...meditation of prescensing. I was in error.:notworthy:

Native roots...lol. I can hear all sounds at the top of my mountains and see the movement of the undergrowth and bush. I often went there before my ear balance concern...to feel safe. Scouting techniques.

However my mountains seem like hills next to the ones you climb! Next time I go, I will take a pixs.
