Well....The police cancelled the hearing because the Major caught wind that i had PTSD as a result of police work. The Major went straight to the Chief of police and told him what was going on with me. The chief cancelled the Hearing and said we are not putting him through that....saved by the major and Chief of police.
Thank you. I have nearly 20 years on the job. I ended up getting lucky with my Med retirement because here in North Carolina i will retire with 25 years and get that pay. It's a special thing the State does when you have nearly 20 years but going out on Med Ret.

Yes sir.....The police finally came through for me. I am still waiting for an answer in regards to Short term Disability and my Med Retirement is going through the retirement system now...should take around 3 weeks.
yep....last sunday i was stressed thinking about the hearing and now im waiting on my 1st retirement check. HR said 1st check will be October, officially retired Sept 1st.

I really enjoy model trains. I hope to get back into that hobby. Vacuum the dust of my train table....lol
