Putting A Front On For The Family

Well the ex and I have all the family over for thanksgiving, and not everyone knows we are separated. Really hard to try to be happy when you are just upset and feel horrible, it's all my fault for the separation. She seems to be doing fine giggling at her phone and having a good time, just trying to keep my cool. Happy thanksgiving friends

I'm sorry this is a tough holiday for you. I also went with the family and put on a good face, but I smiled at the site of the children having fun and the good food and found reasons to be thankful. There are always reasons even if they are not obvious. I pray things move forward for you and next year at this time you will have much to be thankful for.

Meh. :meh: I used to put on fronts. Now I just don't give a f*ck. I am not going to my parent's friend's house as they are doing so will be alone. No one asks anymore as they know I am not doing well when I pull out as if I go I will ruin it for everyone else because I stopped the fronts. You ask me how I am I won't put on a fake smile and say "great" anymore. You ask me how I am and you will get the truth.

Couldn't give a f*ck anymore. I refuse to be fake for the sake of others.
