My inner child got a great gift! We loved troll dolls when we were kids and she got one with a heart shaped teal colored jewel in her belly button, and a cute summer outfit to go with it. She has teal colored hair and eyes. The kids at church were all told to bring their favorite toy to church this morning and they are allowed to wear their jammies too! I'm bringing Jewel with me to church for "Show and Tell" too! But I think I'll skip the jammies!

I also got a beaded/ shells bracelette with the words "FREE TO BE ME" in baby bracelette beads on it.

Can't believe I never opened this thread!

The beach.....oh....the younger me loves the beach! Which is saying something since I live in Oregon, and the pacific is freaking cold.....

But! Little me is sitting in the sand with a shovel and I'm digging a hole big enough for me to stand in. Im alone....as usual. But loving it!

I take my now three littles to the beach and I still love the feeling off the sand running through my fingers.

One question....it's okay for me to really do these things as an adult, right?

Little me loves to color and sits at the table with my kids while they play and we color together....

Little me(now old enough to drive) loves Christmas lights!....it's okay to oooh and ahhh, right?

Always okay to stay young at heart. As I get older I realize I really don't care if others are bothered by me skipping, playing hopscotch on the tile hallways, coloring, or enjoying activities I wasn't permitted to when younger. It is okay to stay in my pjs for the morning if I want. If I want to draw on a steamed up mirror or frosted window with my fingers, I can. I'm learning to nurture my inner child and help her feel safer.

Aww man...forgot noise makers and thinking maybe I'm okay with that as I don't care for the startling.

I'm going to make my own pictures with colored pencils. This way I can make children's or adult's kinds of things, whatever mood I am in.
