Great pics, I really like them.
I enjoy photography myself, but generally landscapes / cityscapes etc, when on holiday. I'm no good at the creative 'arty' shots such as yours.
Thanks for sharing.

I don't know if you're aware, but you can attached photo albums to your profile for all to see.

Regards
CB

Chris, man you've got some nice stuff. I love the shot of the woman and child. I've got a bunch of photos in my album here, but I've run out of space. Thanks for the thread, killer idea.

Hi Chris,

I just wanted to let you know I think your pictures are beautiful. You're very talented. Thank you for sharing.

So I see no one has asked the burning question: what type of photography do you guys do? Digital or film?

I personally like working with film (both 35mm and 120mm) because it requires more special care and thought. Kind of soothing in a way.

I used to shoot film, and at the time I never thought I'd go digital, but the cost savings are pretty significant, and I can see the results right away so I know whether to keep going for a shot or not. Both film and digital have their strong points.

I used to use a 35mm SLR, but waiting for the development meant that I never really figured out what I was doing right or wrong. I used a digital point and shoot now and enjoy it for documentation of my life, moreso than artistic endeavors.

Kers, I found the same problem. I kept a little notepad where I would write down f-stop and exposure, other details of lighting ect., but it just required me to be too anal and took the simple joy out of shooting. I love my digital now.

Ah yes. I agree with you, Kers and Cragger.

However, film has such a different effect. Film has a much deeper feeling to it. It can be more artsy/emotional. I think thats just because digital pictures are taken as art photographs and as casual pictures with friends...
Just my opinion of course.

Gorgeous pictures, Chris!

Manic

Thank you everyone for the comments regarding to the photo's. :thumbs-up

I use a Digital SLR, have never used film for serious photography. Like many have said though, both Film and Digital have key element's to what make's them a productive product for the user / photographer. In either case both can produce image's that are equal quality. Only prob with Digital is that you need to spend X-amount of dollar's to have that full frame unit as to what Film already has..

Anyway, here's some more photo's for everyone to see :thumbs-up

Hey manic, great colour selection in your photo, excellent job

Great photo's

I used to be involved with my ex husbands photo sessions and we did some printing too. The only photo's i seem to take nowadays are the one's of my two grandchildren, but being stuck in the 80's with it i still use film.

Have you ever done any colour tinting of black and white's, it's amazing the effect you can get.

Keep showing the photo's.
