@Justmehere Honestly, it doesn’t matter to me WHO gets accused of sexual harassment..... As long as DUE PROCESS is implemented and people don’t lose their jobs, livelihoods and possibly marriages just because of an accusation.

This has turned into something that has got to stop. People are pointing fingers and other people are losing everything. It’s completely gone haywire. What happed to due process, and you’re innocent until proven guilty? With the way things are going, pissed off people could make false accusations about someone and that person could lose everything because of it, WITHOUT being able to defend themselves. This is just wrong IMHO!!!!!

I so agree with this perspective, @She Cat, Due process has been lacking from the beginning. One problem I have with what is going on is the slush fund that congress and the senate have using taxpayer money to do settlements with their accusers as well.

So false, she just let her company call her guilty then chuck some money at him so he'd go away.

Tax cuts. So what will happen now? If the government runs out of money, where will they cut from the budget?? It would seem to me that if they want to cut taxes, they should have done it the other way around. But I guess things just don't work that way. I wonder when this will all start to take affect and what will happen to the poor.

It wasn’t a tax cut, it was a profit give away. They are giving Billions to the rich, and the middle class and the poor will pay for this thru cuts to all entitlement programs, social security, Medicare, Medicare, food stamps, education, health insurance ect.... They already cut the CHIP program which was health insurance for 9 million children, CHILDREN, so if they can just stop insurance for CHILDREN, use your imagination to what the cuts for adults and the elderly will be. It won’t be pretty!!!!!!

Well they actually didn’t avoid the CHIP program. They put in a provision to pay for it till spring. Maybe they have hearts after all..... at least 9 million kids will have insurance......
