Hello all,

My pen name is Allison and I've been diagnosed PTSD (likely c-PTSD) and Bipolar (other specified).

It feels strange listing off my traumas as an introduction. I'll briefly say that I was sexually assaulted, physically assaulted, experienced childhood physical and emotional abuse, and was a witness to my parent's domestic violence divorce.

I found this site on a whim, and it was such a hit to realize that other people experienced things similar to my symptoms, when I didn't even realize it was necessarily part of the PTSD experience.

I hope to find solace in the site and help provide that for others.
