Can you link to the stuff you use?

I know some swear by pharmagaba but I have a 100+ day supply...
It is made by Quicksilver Scientific. If you do a search on liposomal GABA, their product shows up. Amazon also carries it at a higher price. I first ordered it through Amazon, but then I found I could get it cheaper ordering direct from the company.

No, it doesn’t work like a benzo for me. GABA is a calming neurotransmitter and it just keeps m...
Thanks for answering all of my questions. I am currently on Xanax and Paxil and I would like to replace the Xanax with the GABA. My therapist only wants me to take herbal remedies for my anxiety but I just wasn’t sure if it would do the job that Xanax does. Plus, I really don’t want to get addicted to the Xanax. This med thing is all new to me as I was recently diagnosed just a few months ago with PTSD. This site is great for learning what works and doesn’t. Hope you are progressing well in your healing.

Now I am on a liposomal form, and it works fast!
Oooh I didn't know there is a liposomal form! I also found the powdered form didn't really have any anxiolytic effects for me.

I really don’t want to get addicted to the Xanax.
Keep in mind that over the counter GABA supplements can be addictive too. I became addicted to phenibut (GABA analogue) through everyday use that was administered to me over several months by my ex. The withdrawal was awful. Like with benzos, it's an external source of neurotransmitters so it has the potential for a tolerance build up over time and withdrawal symptoms if it is suddenly taken away.
I think GABA supplements are a great tool but I just thought I'd mention that in case you were unaware, I don't want anyone to go through what I did.

There's also a GABA thread, if you're interested in reading more experiences of others Gaba. does it help you? :)
