Hello,

I have been diagnosed with cPTSD (complex post traumatic stress disorder), PNES (psychogenic non epileptic seizures/dissociative seizures) and DID (dissiociative identity "disorder") and I wonder if anyone out there who is also a multi suffers from PNES too.
Does anyone knows if and how they are linked?
Because most of the time I don´t remember having the seizures but I know that in a dissociative seizure you actually don´t lose consciesness fully my doc and I think that most of the time I switch before or even in a seizure. Is that common?

Greetings,
L.

and I wonder if anyone out there who is also a multi suffers from PNES too.
I was diagnosed years ago with DDNOS. My current t is more of the mindset that I have DID. I don't really know but somehow I think I share space with an infant who is in excruciating pain and a toddler who is frozen because she is surrounded by double bind situations.

My PNES, in my opinion, is causes by the physical manifestation of those double binds. When I feel there is no choice at all I have a drop attack that can last a few hours or up to five days. Solid frozen.
I also have a diagnosis of conversion disorder. The conversion being my inability to show anger for fear of being annihilated. I have been working on expressing emotions for some time and it seems to have helped with my PNES expressions. Is it possible you are repressing a key emotion? Or are unable to express it somehow?

I am also medicating with CBD oil which has made a tremendous difference.

I have cPTSD, DID, and focal seizures. I discovered that it is *really* hard to distinguish between actual focal seizures and a dissociative episode - Anticonvulsants helped me, though, and I have had abnormal EEGs.
