PTSD pushing people away

This guy I was seeing no longer wants me around. I feel like my PTSD pushed him away. There were days when if he didn't talk to me all day, I would panic and think he didn't want me around anymore. He definitely got sick of that stuff cause he said he wasn't letting me back into his life after my last episode. My heart just hurts because I never wanted to have such strong reactions towards him and he knew I had PTSD. I also sorta think I subconsciously pushed him away cause often I'd just want his comfort and reassurance and he was no where to be found. Does anyone else think it's possible to basically push someone away because deep inside they aren't actually giving you what you need?

I agree with My time. You really want something else, other than a boyfriend. You guys were too new at this for what you needed. Best to get some good advise first and walk down your path with someone else's insight

Are you seeing a therapist for your PTSD? If you feel you may of subconsciously push him away then seeing a therapist would be your first step.
No I'm not. I'm having a hard time just making a phone call to get an appointment at all. I just got a c-ptsd workbook though to try out and hope it gives me a bit of will to pick up the phone

You have the strength, you came here for support and you got it. You are worthy of the help and support you need, we all believe in you.
You have more strength than you know, you can make that call.
